The Friesian horse, recognised for their impressive front, majestic mane, lower leg feathering, jet black colour and spacious, powerful elevated gaits. The harmonious and noble build and head, set on a lightly arched neck, complete the aristocratic fiery appearance. With amicable character traits it’s a great utility breed.

The Australian Miniature Pony Society Inc was formed in July 1974. It has members Australia wide with promotional groups and state delegates in each state. Australian miniature ponies are a small well proportioned pony, possessing good temperament, not exceeding 87cms & are highly intelligent with gentle and affectionate nature.

The Quarter Horse has grace, balance and differs from any other breed. This allows them to excel in a number of disciplines due to their versatility  including Western Pleasure, Cutting, Reining, Campdrafting or Working Cowhorse. The Quarter Horse also competes in more traditional areas like Pony Club, Dressage, Show Jumping, Polo and Polocrosse.

The Clydesdale is renowned for its action, according to the Clydesdale Horse Society the breed has a flamboyant style, a flashy spirited bearing and a high stepping action that makes it a singularly elegant animal among draught horses.  More importantly it is bred for the hard-wearing, enduring qualities of its silky, feathered feed and legs.  With a gently and quiet temperament they are an inredible partner.

The Connemara Pony is native to that part of Ireland, west of Galway, known as CONNEMARA.  The Connemara pony is a first class utility animal, equally suitable to carry a child or adult, and owning such a pony has many advantages for a family.  Good temperament, hardiness, staying power, intelligence, soundness, surefootedness & jumping ability make the Connemara suitable for child or adult.

The Australian Pony is a breed that has been established since Australia was settled over 200 years ago.  They are renowned for their pretty pony like features, but also their ability to be competitive in most equestrian sports, whilst maintaining their wonderful temperaments for children to ride independently.  Earlsley Park Stud tries to maintain that focus in our breeding program.

Clydesdales originated in Scotland and are listed as vulnerable.   Height 16 to 18 hands, weight 820 to 1000 kg.   Clydesdales are characterised by long white silky feather on the legs and carry a sabino gene.  Originally used for agriculture, but now days primarily a show/pleasure animal for riding and driving.

Famed as the mount of the Australian Light Horse, The Waler horse is a strong warmblood type originating from the diverse mix of pony, draught, coach and saddle horse breeds introduced into Australia prior to the mid-1940s. Horses originating from remote outback stations with a history of breeding for the remount trade formed the basis of the WHSA Foundation Waler Horse Register when the Society was established in 1986.
